Brand new Indian restaurant in town and of course it is located at a brand new "mall" right after munali mall. Upon entering the restaurant, you get to notice its colourful setup of mostly green and white. The place is clean and was not so loud with music(since it is also considered a bar). I enjoyed the waterfalls/fountain scene that the have by the wall. It seems interesting to look at especially when you see the plants and flower pots next to it. I played it safe with the food and ordered what I like best from any Indian restaurant, butter chicken. It was soft and tender but most of all flavourful. I enjoyed my garlic naan and the little gulab treats for dessert. I was not impressed with the "green salad" at all. The portion was large, yes, but it felt like they just threw in random vegetables that they had and made it a salad. Unfortunately that was the underwhelming part of my experience which I hope they take into consideration. The service was good, I made a call in advance to check if they had a few things available (they did not), but I was still impressed with how they handled my queries on the phone and overall service given to me while I dined there. Also had a lovely lunch that came with a 10% off my meal. They are still finding their balance and I'm sure they are still working on finding out what works for them as a restaurant so I'm optimistic that they will take the feedback given and do their best.

Visited Indian Basket Restaurant & Bar with my Fiancee on International Women's day, it was a special moment on the count that we were celebrating our women out there. When we arrived we were welcomed in a hospitable manner, a table was shown to us and Menu's for both food and beverage's were given to us. I picked the Chicken fried rice and Chicken Tikka Masala and blue lemonade as my beverage while my Fiancee picked the Veg Pulav (rice with veggies) and Chicken tawa Masala and Fanta as her beverage. For a spot we visited for the first time we really enjoyed our meal and ambiance. We visited the place the night after on the count that the food was delicious, I ordered the Chicken Hong Kong noodles and Pina colada as my beveragewhile my Fiancee ordered the Chicken hakka noodles and Fanta as her beverage. I totally recommend this place. @indianbasket.

A new hidden gem on Munali Mall Road just a little ahead of Munali Mall, you may have missed to try. A must visit Indian Restaurant with very unique ambience and food preparation to the best of the taste you will remember 😋 The staff is very polite and must mention if you are attended by Charlie the Server there you are in very caring hands. Keep it up boy. Now the ambience is too good and this place had indeed good vibes too so you will feel like spending more and more time here. We tried Chicken Tikka Dry & Chicken Lolypop in dine in and they were just finger-licking good. Taking away Chicken Biryani home but can't stop myself to write a review to appreciate this place. We will soon be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian basket, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

Firstly, the atmosphere was lovely. The restaurant had a warm and inviting ambiance, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. It was clear that great care had been taken to create a welcoming space for diners.

But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts, every bite was a delight. It was clear that the kitchen staff were true masters of their craft.

What really set this restaurant apart, however, was the service. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire meal, making us feel like valued guests. The rest of the staff were equally welcoming, creating a truly memorable dining experience.

Overall, I cannot recommend Indian Basket highly enough. If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, look no further. This restaurant is an absolute gem and should be at the top of everyone's...

Knocked off a star because my Chicken Mushroom Fried Rice came with just Chicken, Mushroom.

I ordered the Mutton with Nsima. At first, I was slightly pained at only having one vegetable. Beyond this, it was simple cabbage, which I am not too partial to. My initial impression of the stew was that the strong aroma although absolutely tantalising, was likely overpowered with herbs and spices (aroma at the expense of coherent taste); this is something that has plagued me when ordering from modern restaurants. I was completely wrong. The aroma matched the flavour, one ntongo in and I was blown away by how beautifully crafted this entire meal was. The cabbage was the perfect texture, the stew an amazing blend of mildly spicy, rich umai and meaty flavour. The Mutton? Amazingly tender and tasty. The length of my review shows just how satisfied I was with my meal. Absolute culinary...
