A true hidden gem at Parafield Airport! The F4U-1 Corsair under restoration is a true highlight. They're also restoring a P-39 as well, and it's fascinating to see the process up close. The volunteers are friendly and passionate. Me and my friend learned so much in the end. We get to go up and look down at the cockpit as well! Entry is free, but donations are recommended to support their incredible work. A must visit if you're anywhere near Parafield Airport! (This is a active workshop so there will be noises from the volunteers working on these aircrafts during the tour)

It's more of an open workshop than a museum so you need to be interested in plane restoration to get value from this place. As long as you're interested in plane restoration, you'll love visiting this workspace to see how they're going. Gold coin domain to get in and the volunteer will give you as much detail about their current project as you like

A hidden gem, a passionate group of people doing their best to preserve aeroplane history, for all of us, my family were given a personal tour of the museum/workshop. Visited this Museum on Wednesday with a 5yr old and 2yr old, Entry is cheap $10 adults, $5 kids 5yrs & over, lots of very interesting Planes, plane parts and airforce memorabilia. Staff we very friendly and helpful we had a free tour as soon as we entered, got to sit in a plane and the kids got some plane pictures to colour in. It is also located at the Parafield Airport which is a great place to take kids just to watch...

The museum is being closed down in stages. Really only the F4U Corsair aircraft under restoration is left to see. In a few months that will be completed and then sold, and the place will close. Staff are very knowledgeable and informative and guided tours are given. Its a shame the museum has come to an end however the owner is retiring and disposing of the collection. Visit while...
