Talk about a big kids playground lol. It's set in the old Victorian Railways yards at Alexandra, and uses the old Alexandra Railway Station. Great piece of history. If you're mechanically minded, love playing around with engines and machinery, have a love of restoration and keeping history alive, then join, you'll love this place. Then there's the steam train, another beautiful piece of history. The kids will love it here, young and old. It's a good day out.

Great look back into time. Old machinery and steam engines. There's an old train that still operates for $10 adults and $5 for kids. It's a small fee to keep this piece of history still operating. It's run by volunteers.

Website timetable and the timetable stuck up around the station said that the train would be running on 9/9 and remarked “Alexandra Railway Market”.

However, when I arrived there was no sign of anything happening. Station office closed, no staff around. There was some other confused people hanging around as well.

I called the number on the website and was told it wasn’t running that day. A bit disappointing given that the website timetable said...
