Title: A Missed Opportunity for Classic French Fare
Review: I recently visited a cafe, Elli & Ivy, that seemed promising with its quaint ambiance and the promise of a good croque monsieur toastie. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The sandwich, a staple of French cuisine, was served without mustard, which is akin to serving pasta without sauce. It lacked the tangy kick that mustard provides, leaving the flavors unbalanced and bland. As per societal norms, I didn't bring this up directly and instead waited 'til I was home to go online and compose a review. To add to the disappointment, the restroom facilities were located in a storage cupboard, which was both unconventional and uncomfortable. It was too busy to find a table, inside or outside, and the food was as fantastic as it was bustling!
