Heazlett Park — Attraction in Avoca Beach

Family Xmas day a get together of 4 to 5 generations, we all bring something either nibbles, lunch or dessert 🍨, book the tennis court for an hour for those young enough. Prefect place less than 2 has drive from Sydney depending where u live. Prefect lagoon with shallow waters for kids, vast sandy beach as well a long beach. Just be aware of bluebottles. Nice picnic area, mo ile icecream truck is always around next to city centre and nice cafes and restaurants. Good public amenities. Parking can be a bit tricky. Avoca has so much to offer. The park areas are amazing here and Heazlett Park is one especially if you have a furry friend. The Dogs are free to have a splash here in the lagoon and run a muck on the sand. Parking is as close as you can get to the dog park area.
