Like Minds Cafe is an absolute gem in Avoca Beach. It's clear that this place is loved by locals, and the lively, vibrant atmosphere makes it a great spot to visit. I also love that it's dog-friendly, which adds to the warm, community feel. I decided to try the sourdough crumpets, and they were absolutely delicious—the rhubarb added a perfect, tangy sweetness that made the dish exceptional. While the filtered coffee wasn't quite to my taste, the fantastic food and overall welcoming vibe more than made up for it. Very slow with both making food and coffee and unfortunately the coffee has been quite milky and lacking flavour. Expensive prices for small portion food that takes forever to come out.

It seems like none of the employees or the manager know or care how to wear a mask correctly as both times our food and coffee have been made while their masks sit below their chin.

For a holiday destination with people coming from all across Sydney it’s really disheartening to see a lack of care for their customer’s health and safety.

We were actually unable to stay to eat. The food we saw others eating looked good but beware the menu is quite limited and on the day we arrived at lunch they had run out of avocados leaving very few vegetarian options as well. The other problem for us was the kids menu is very limited and as our fussy ones don't like eggs there was really nothing for them to eat so we had to pack back up and go (posted copy of kids menu for reference).
