The Ayr Nature Display was an unexpected highlight of our trip! The collection is absolutely extraordinary—so much thought and care has gone into curating an incredible variety of natural specimens. From rocks and gemstones to cone shells and the fascinating displays on bower birds, there’s something to captivate all ages. The knowledge and passion of the guide were exceptional, and really brought the exhibits to life.

Our whole family walked away having learned so much. It's a must-visit for anyone curious about nature or looking for an educational and engaging stop in Ayr.

Wow, the amount of work that has gone into this display is amazing! The guide (son-in-law of the collector) was a font of knowledge and after introducing the collection allows you to take your own time to look closer. We spent an hour and really only glanced at everything.
