May 2025 We stopped in Ayr for some breakfast. Not familiar with Ayr I did a maps search and by customer reviews chose Chill. What a busy place, it was packed. The main restaurant area was choc-a-block so we were escorted to a large room to the side of the main area. The girl that served us was so bubbly and happy and knew her stuff. A pity I didn't get her name. My hubbie had a Caesar salad wrap which had all the same ingredients as in the salad, it came with a choice of fries or sweet potatoes. He said it was delicious. I have a dairy allergy and don't eat meat and opted for the roasted mushroom on turkish. it was a roasted portobello mushroom, pesto, rocket, house sauce and swiss cheese (no cheese for me) OMG it was also delicious and I had mine with the best sweet potato fries. I also had the tropical chill fruit juice. It was a freshly made juice (I did check with waitress) so nice orange, pine, mango and passion. They cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free and are an allergy aware cafe so you can ask a server before ordering and if they can assist they will. Would definitely go back again if I went to Ayr...

What I ordered: I ordered the brekki wrap for takeaway.it was give in a nice small box, One detail I noticed is It even came with napkins! That’s some great detail, also The wrap has a lot in it and so much in it! Egg, bacon and much more! The wrap was hot, and that makes perfect sense as you’re going to eat later, that’s basically the point of takeaway!
Staff: The staff were very friendly and easy to approach, she showed no aggression at all and showed she was willing to take our order!
Drinks: I ordered a hot chocolate and it was very good! I didn’t even need to add more sugar, it was even better than some hot chocolates in Melbourne!
Overall: Overall the experience, Food and drinks were so good! I highly recommend this place, even the vibe of the place is great! If you’re going past Ayr, come to this place!!! The price was reasonable and the wait...

I've now went to Chill Parlour Cafe on three separate occasions, and although I had varied experiences, it was overall just "ok".
Firstly, I have to start by saying that the decor and ambiance of the place is it's strongsuit. Colourful and quaint, it's a nice place to (as the name suggests) chill.
Unfortunately there were some shortcomings. The iced coffee didn't taste like it had any coffee in it, so that was a bust. The hot coffee is fine. The food was alright; not noteworthy IMO. Polenta was pretty rough, and their Caesar dressing was sweet and tasted like it came from a jar.
Maybe I had high hopes for Chill Parlour - but it just didn't really do it for me. I'll likely give it a forth shot - as there isn't a whole lot of options in Ayr, so we'll see...
