This is one of my favourite places! I walk my dog there each morning and ride my bike up and down the track. There is a big Morton Bay Fig along the path with a seat near it. When not so hot, I sit under the tree to meditate, but I have seen a couple of big snakes along the path in the last month, so the seat it is for me. I also love the lagoon and meditate there most days. It is peaceful and the wildlife is so amazing. The council has done a great job in providing such a beautiful space at the back of the estate I live in. It is so good to see so many people using and appreciating this space.
Most people are responsible and have their dogs on a leash and pick up their dog's poo. Lately, there have been some people who have their dogs off-leash which concerns me when walking with my dog or when riding my bike. It would be good to have poo bags supplied by council and for bins to be placed along the path at intervals for rubbish or depositing of poo bags. I have noticed bags of poo on the side of the path because people don't want to carry the poo bags on their walk.
