I visited the Oxley Subway this afternoon and was absolutely appalled by the disgraceful behaviour of a staff member named Mariana. I simply asked her to toast the bread—something completely reasonable—and instead of acknowledging that she didn’t hear me, she became visibly irritated and proceeded to shove the bread with spinach and cucumber into the toaster. When I pointed out that this would make the sandwich soggy, she snapped at me and got even more disrespectful.
Her attitude was completely unacceptable. I was shocked by how aggressively she behaved over something so minor. I ended up walking away because I refused to tolerate that level of rudeness. As I was leaving, she actually mocked me and told me to “yes, leave” while acting it out. When I said I’d report her behaviour, she didn’t even flinch—she told me to go ahead. Clearly, she doesn’t care at all about how she treats customers.
To make it worse, I was the only customer there. A colleague of hers was present and said absolutely nothing—just stood there while this all unfolded. That speaks volumes about the culture of that store.
I’m beyond angry and incredibly disappointed. I will never step foot in that Subway again, and I strongly urge the management to take a serious look at this employee. Her customer service is downright shameful and she does not represent the brand in any...
Read moreWhile preparing my order, the staff wearing disposable gloves, left the food preparation area to handle the cash register and then returned to continue handling food without changing gloves. I immediately pointed out that this was unsanitary and should not be done. However, instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, the staff member responded with a rude attitude and continued serving the next customer as if nothing had happened.
This behavior reflects a lack of proper training in hygiene and customer service. Food safety should be a top priority, and staff must be properly trained to follow basic hygiene protocols. Unfortunately, this experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I will not be returning to this location.

After several attempts & restarting the machine I was gifted the treats at no charge. I would like to personally put a shout out to the girls JADE & KERRI for all they did this afternoon.
