Had not visited this area for a couple of years now and it was good to see yesterday all the area being used properly by walkers, with and without their dogs, young families, bicycle riders and older walkers with their wheelchairs etc. Many happy canines enjoying the creek too.

The one thing I noticed were the number of old, big, round cement sewerage (?) sumps spread throughout the green park area. I know I’ve seen these before but yesterday there seemed to be a strong off putting odour surrounding most of them! This is probably a query for the BCC or Urban Utilities, but can something be done about this or at least checked on? Had recent rain or hot weather caused this?

Only saw one Restroom over near Norths Juniors and can’t say I saw any picnic tables, just single benches. No playground as such, only one near North’s Juniors field. Walkers themselves were very...

My adorable Yorkie Milo loves coming to this park and with so many places to romp and have fun with both off and on leash areas. Your dog can enjoy a swim and play over quite a large area and can socialise with dogs of all shapes, sizes and bréeds as part of a friendly pack with mostly all of them welcoming and have responsible owners or enjoy walking your fur baby alone enjoying that special time Biodegradable poop bags available from BCC and the whole area is kept well maintained for not only your but your pet's safety, A covered picnic table area to enjoy a day at the park or somewhere to simply rest after your pooch is gone for a really long run! All in all one of Brisbane's ...

Unfortunately a very good park that's degraded quite a lot over the past couple of years.

Flood debris clogs most of the creek, creek banks have been washed out and eroded leading to collapses and undercutting and dead trees and weeds abound.

The park surface itself is a mix of hardpacked dirt, slick clay sections and swathes of standing water/mud crawling with mosquitoes.

Have spent hundreds of hours chasing Council and further up the environmental chain to no avail, literally told fixing waterways is in their too...

Excellent place to take your dog but for the love of all things holy, heed my advice and TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLENT. The mozzies will carry you away, there are hundreds and we had to leave early because I couldn't stand it. Otherwise it's a beautiful grassy stretch to run your dog along with trees, a creek and lots of other dogs at peak time (4-5pm) to play with. The off leash area is marked by poles not a fence, but it's huge and backs on to an industrial area so no traffic about.

Love this dog park. Take my pups here all the time. Be warned, there's a river, and if you have water loving dogs like I do, they will find it, so make sure you pack towels. I bought a car back-seat thing for dogs off of catch, so I have 0 problems with this. Your dogs will be very happy here and make lots of friends. There's also a couple of bins and usually the council has dog poo bags in a bin near them in case you forget your own.
