Where do we even begin with thanking Hillstone, our dream venue and the most beautiful setting for our wedding day. 🤍 There are so many people who made our experience truly unforgettable. From the start, Donika made the venue tour such a relaxed and easy decision, we were instantly in love. Hannah was a huge help in the early planning stages, always quick to respond and so helpful with all the details as we locked everything in.

As the day got closer, Jess stepped in and she was nothing short of amazing. Every email was answered so quickly, no question ever felt too small, and her level of organisation gave us so much peace of mind. On the day itself, Jess was such a calm and friendly presence, especially in those quiet moments right before walking down the aisle. To all the waitstaff and team members who looked after us and our guests, thank you so much. Drinks were topped up before we even realised we needed another, and everything from canapés to dinner was served with a warm smile and a wonderfully professional attitude. You created such a welcoming and effortless atmosphere for everyone. And the food, wow. Our guests are absolutely raving about it! Every dish was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour.

A special shoutout to the Bridal party attendees, you were phenomenal. So friendly, easy to get along with, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole day. This thoughtful service from Hillstone was such a standout for us and made everything feel even more special. There were so many small touches throughout our experience with Hillstone, from the planning process to the wedding day itself that showed just how much care goes into what they do. The Fountain, Mango Tree Terrace and Grandview room are all absolutely stunning, Hillstone is picture-perfect in every way, but that’s just the icing on the cake. It was the people and the service that truly made this venue feel like the perfect place for us to say “I do.” We feel incredibly lucky to have found Hillstone through a recommendation, and we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend it to anyone else. My adored son and his beautiful bride were married at Hillstone on Sunday, and we could not have been more delighted with the outstanding service we received from Hayley and her team.

Right from the beginning Hayley instilled in us the confidence that it would be the wedding of their dreams. She has a unique talent for making the couple feel as though they are the centre of the universe (which is what all potential brides and grooms want to be on their special day). Every question, every request was treated as important.

Hayley understood the nervousness and anxieties experienced in the lead-up to such a momentous occasion, and responded with warmth, empathy and a thorough professionalism which allowed our families to focus on the joy and happiness of the event, rather than potential issues which may have arisen. We knew that Hayley would be there to address and find a solution for any last-minute ‘curve-balls’, including a ‘wet weather alternative’ should the need arise (which, thankfully, it didn’t). Thanks also to Lauren who assisted Hayley on the day, and who was there to assist us all at the rehearsal.

From the ceremony right through to the last dances of the evening, it was perfect. Your bar and wait staff were attentive and respectful, and the meals were delivered smoothly and on time. Even the coffee was delicious and refreshing! Please pass on my thanks to the whole team.

I just wanted to pass on our sincere thanks and appreciation to all involved for the Christmas day lunch. It was our 3rd time enjoying the Christmas Day hospitality of Hillstones. Our first two times were a few years ago. So it was wonderful to return and find everything was still wonderful. From the welcome at the front door, to the pouring of our first drink and then the gluttony we experienced. If any other diners reported a gluttonous woman, greedily feasting on Moreton Bay Bugs throughout the luncheon, well, unashamedly, that was me! And I make no apology. The Bugs were absolutely superb. I tried a few of the other items (fish, ham, salads etc) but found myself back at the Bug table. My husband devoured the oysters and bugs as well. Everything was perfect, especially as it was our first time without our now grown up children. Our first time at Hillstones for Christmas Day lunch, our children eagerly awaited Santa. This year they were enjoying Christmas overseas.

The team who looked after everything, from the managers, chefs, event planners, wait staff, kitchen hands, buyers, admin staff (and my apologies if I have missed someone) should all be congratulated, as every area of the event was perfection.
