One of the best parks in the town. Nice place to host birthday parties or have a family outing. Many electric barbecue tables tops makes this a perfect place. Awsome play area for the kids of all ages. There are two tennis court to play. 3 cricket picthes to host a game of cricket with friends or opposition. Gym area to work out. Separate paths for cyclists ang joggers. A second walkway near the stream which gives a feeling that you are not in city but far away from it. The park is adjacent to Indoor stadium where you can play indoor and have fun. It hosts inflatable World too where the children can enjoy different inflated toy castles. Another place to hold kid's birthday parties where both parents and children can enjoy. The path also leads to toombul mall where you can grab snacks while going to or coming from the kalinga park. The park is easily accessible by train.. both Toombul and Eagle Junction are at walkable distance from the park. There is a very big football field at the Shaw Road end. The park also hosts a dog park which all dog lover would love and would want to come here again and again. Only downside is the parking space. Bit more parking space near the play area would have been. Don't get me wrong here people.. there is ample space at the parking and additional parking near the different cricket pitches but few more to accommodate the weekend rush would be a welcome relief. Overall a thumbs up for the park and would recommend to visit once and experience the same.

I visited *Kalinga Park* today and had a truly refreshing experience. This park is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Brisbane's northside. It offers a perfect blend of nature, recreation, and family-friendly amenities. The lush green surroundings, tall trees, and open spaces make it ideal for walking, jogging, or just relaxing under the shade. There are well-maintained walking and cycling tracks that connect to the Kedron Brook bikeway, making it great for active visitors. I especially appreciated the thoughtful design of the children's playground — it's spacious, safe, and filled with a variety of play equipment that caters to kids of different age groups. For families, there are several picnic areas with BBQ facilities and shaded seating. The creek flowing through the park adds a calming natural element and attracts some birdlife, which enhances the experience for nature lovers. I also noticed clean toilet facilities and ample parking nearby. The park was clean, peaceful, and felt very safe. Whether you're planning a picnic, a workout, or just a quiet escape into nature, Kalinga Park is a fantastic spot to visit. I’d definitely recommend it to locals and tourists alike. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Good sized yard area with an undercover seating area along with a couple other benches and basic agility amenities for pups... The surrounding park areas are beautiful and it is centrally located for inner city visitors, tucked away enough to be safe... HOWEVER the grass is a dissapointment as the ground is very bare and not tended to at all, it results in an area that is dusty when dry and muddy the rest of the time. Obviously grassing an area as this is easier said than done... All said this is a decent dog park, most people pick up after themselves and are friendly enough.

This place is amazing. Off leash dog parks for big and small dogs. Awesome adventure playground for older and younger kids (multiple), cricket grounds, half court (B-Ball), tennis courts, undercover gym equipment, bike tracks, walking tracks, toilets, access to clean water and council allows private functions to access to power. Free BBQs, scout hall and all just minutes from Toombul shopping centre and train. Fantastic for a day out, this place caters for everyone. It even runs alongside a river so if you're walking the dog on a hot day they can cool off. Gorgeous area, lush, well maintained and created with every member of your...
