Shambhala Espresso, the little cafe with big taste and even bigger smiles!

The cafe is beautifully appointed and staffed by the nicest, friendliest people. Which is no surprise considering management. You honestly won’t meet nicer people.

The coffee is ethically sourced and tastes great, whether you’re a purist who enjoys a macchiato or short black or like it with vanilla or ice cream.

Now, the smiles are fantastic, the coffee great; But the magic, the real magic here is in the food. The menus are consistently updated and refreshed but don’t fear, they are all equally amazing and contain a diverse range from light and fresh, to heavier more filling dishes. They always include some standard favourites but with the chef’s key twists. My words can never do it justice. Go and experience it for...

We were very disappointed in being spoken to very rudely by the lady working there. A lovely tall man served us but the way she approached us regarding using takeaway cups was very disrespectful. There’s a way to speak to people, especially in a customer service industry. We were going to eat in and take our takeaway coffees with us as we are slow coffee drinkers and had a way to walk home as we had walked there to eat and get our coffees but were so disappointed in the way she spoke to us that you lost us as customers and we left. I work in the customer service industry and would never speak to anyone the way she did and if I owned the business I’d be very upset seeing that happen to the customers who are paying, paying customers should have their own choice and also be spoken to...

Nestled along my daily commute, Shambhala Espresso stands as a beacon of true craftsmanship in Brisbane's coffee scene. It's a small shop with an immense passion, and that passion is palpable in every cup. The single-origin espresso they serve is, without a doubt, the finest I've encountered in the city. Each shot is a testament to meticulous care, highlighting the nuanced flavors of the bean with a clarity that speaks to the barista's skill and dedication. This is more than just a morning stop; it's an elevated ritual, a moment of quiet perfection that consistently sets the tone for my day. Shambhala Espresso isn't just a coffee shop—it's a destination for anyone who appreciates the art and science behind an...

Been driving past Shambhala numerous times and finally had a chance to go today. Coffee was great and dreamy. The taste was very mutual with a hint of bitterness, which I dug. One of the best we have had. Almost bought coffee beans from them. We especially loved the orange and almond cake. It was so refreshing and light. The orange flavor was very consistent throughout. The hazelnut cake was delicious too but we both decided we loved the orange and almond cake more. Service wise, we both thought they could use a bit of improvement. The chick who served us did not seem too thrilled to be there. But the owner (correct me if I’m wrong), on the other hand, was much warmer and welcoming. Will come back again.
