Sunset Park — Attraction in Brisbane City

First time at the dog park and by golly it is huge! Like think 3 to 4 times bigger than your average dog park, even the little dog/puppy area is big. Our little schnoodle is fine with big dogs though so we went in to the big dog area and he had a ball sniffing, running and playing with all the dogs no matter the size. All the dogs were super nice when we went to which makes things easier. And even with all this rain the ground was squishy but not muddy at all. Would recommend even if you have to drive...

Possibly THE BEST DOG in Brisbane (MEANJIN)!!! A vast green canine playground with mini small dog park within the big park (yet still big enough for ‘zoomies’ 🤩) and next door to the pump bmx dirt bike track.

Seated areas and big shady trees, plus a solar powered undercover picnic area means you will always have a spot to rest or take cover. With 2 taps for the doggies (one at each end) and a good supply of doggy poo bins and bags at either end!!!

Happy days is...

The park features cordoned off off-leash areas- one for bigger dogs and another for smaller. It is an easy area to access with car parking options up and down hill. The sightlines are relatively clear, so you can see who is in the immediate area. The park is serviced by council, and usually with quick attention if any faults do appear.

The mixed crowd has been friendly- although it is usually hard to be not positively biased towards another...
