Lake Ellen Heritage Hub Playground — Attraction in Bundaberg South

Lake Ellen is one of my favourite spots to go too after shopping on a Saturday afternoon with fish n chips from the Whitts takeaway up the road .. park up, sit and watch the ducks, geese, pelican's, swans and what ever nature provides on the day! Its a Dog friendly park too .. you can even go for an adventure walk if you got time to stretch your legs or exercise. Wheelchair stroller friendly and toilet facilities either end of park .. bbqs, climbing equipment, bike rides alot of fun time's happens here at Lake Ellen...

Great place, a couple of playgrounds close to each other, good bike park aswell. My favourite part is the swamp reserve, big walks with bridges and board walks all over. My kids love to explore it and normally have a picnic. The turtles and birds arent really fed so you only get a couple of curious animals that hang around but never get too close. Flying foxes usually like to rest in a certain spot where you can see but if you want to avoid...

Well presented park with so many play and activity areas. All abilities park FOR all ages sizes and capabilities. Plenty of parking available Shared bbqs and covered areas with plenty of seating and space. Often a wonderful way to have a birthday party or a celebration. Lots to keep the family busy.
