Okay so don't call me a Karen yet... hear me out. I understand it's boxing dad and no one wants to work boxing day but seriously... I've been coming to this store for like 3 years after work and weekends I don't go anywhere else because the service is amazing. But not today. A young guy served me he seemed nice and might of been his first job but he skimped out on everything. I'll show you a pick. But first of he didn't ask if I wanted my thing toasted (which I ddont) and he proceeded to anyway. He also put maybe 6 leaves of spinach on it and like 4 peices of capsicum but 8 peices of tomato and like 5 olives. I also had to ask for the sauce that is supost to coming with the meat and the other sauce I get. Honestly I'm not happy. I've been working all day and I was looking forward to a nice feed cus oml it's delicious but I'm met with a below average sandwich. Look just train your staff a bit better even if they are new. Read moreI want to give credit where it’s due — the staff members in training did an amazing job under really tough circumstances. Despite being clearly new and still learning, they handled the pressure with professionalism, stayed calm, and tried their best to keep things running smoothly.
What was disappointing, however, was the complete lack of support from the senior staff. Not only did they offer no guidance or help to the trainee, but one of them actually left during service, and the other walked out shortly after. It was honestly shocking to witness such a lack of leadership and responsibility, especially during a busy period.
The trainee deserves recognition for stepping up when the experienced staff completely dropped the ball. Management should take a serious look at how their team is being supported — or not — because this isn’t fair on new staff or paying...
Read moreI’m with a youth group (27 kids aged 10 - 18, and 3 leaders). Our train was delayed by 2 hours, and we had a 20 minute window to organise dinner for our group (because our arrival time at our destination had blown out to after 9.30pm). The team at Subway were amazing! They smashed out 11 foot-long subs for our group in 15 minutes and we were able to get our order back to the group in time for the train.
