Stadium Park — Attraction in Burswood

I had the chance to walk around Optus Stadium, and it was a fantastic experience! The area is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, wide open spaces, and stunning views of the Swan River. The pathways are well-paved and perfect for a relaxing stroll, whether you’re solo, with family, or walking your dog. There’s plenty of seating along the way, so you can stop and take in the scenic surroundings.

The stadium itself is impressive, and walking around it gives you a great sense of its size and architecture. There are also informative plaques and statues around, making it an enjoyable walk even for those interested in the history and design of the stadium. The park is pleasantly near the Swan River. There's a fish nursery, plenty of birdlife and heaps of sculptures. There's gas BBQs, water stations and toilet facilities a short distance away. Picnic tables are under cover.

There's also a pick up/ drop off point there for some of the tour boats that frequent the river.

If you're like me and enjoy just wandering through parks and gardens and exploring you'll love Stadium Park. It's well worth the trip....
