Located in the regional town of Castlemaine lies the wonderful gallery of Shades of Grey that are only open in the first week of November and is not to be missed if you love gardens and artworks with a difference!! The gallery is ONLY OPEN for 9 days and is well worth that little trip from Melbourne…… The town of Castlemaine has a few cafes, pubs and even the wonderful Sutton Grange winery that is a must to visit or drive via the areas of Mount Macedon and pop by for a taste of the vineyards!! Enjoy the trip and yes you can buy the beautiful flowers, but only during the opening period!! Enjoy

So pleased to be able to make it to Castlemaine for their exhibition, the only chance to buy their fabulous work as far as I know. Apparently the bird houses sold out in the first few hours, maybe next year! Got myself a selection of flowers and have ordered some more online.

Always a delight to visit the gallery when open in Oct Nov. Popular with gardeners for their varied metal flowers & whimsical birdhouses, wreaths and floral towers etc. It's not cheap but is handmade on the premises, often from recycled materials.

We enjoyed our visit to this art gallery. The gardens are beautifully maintained and filled with unique artwork of flowers, a delightful experience to wander through. The inside galleries have bird houses, butterflies and more handcrafted flowers of all descriptions. A visit is highly recommended and you can purchase these delightful items to take...
