A nice friendly atmosphere can be found here at this relitively small market. There is live music and decent enough variety of fresh organic produce which I personally found a little on the expensive side. There are a variety of snacks like BBQ sausages, coffee stands, cakes and more to be found. Special mention to delicious local authentic honey and honey related products. One place was DMC Honey which had a stand at the Market and another great source of local Honey is a very short walk to the Fruit shop opposite the Castlemaine Tourist information centre. We enjoyed the homemade jam, apple/raison doughnuts, ice cream, purchased amazing marbled steaks, and cauliflower cheese pie.
