The owl itself of course is a majestic creature, and She watches over Belconnen and protects all beneath her wings.

What should be said is the surroundings. It wouldn't be fair to knock off a star for something that's not the statue itself, but I don't think I can review intersections, so this will have to do. I think the intersection here upon which the Owl is perched does her a great disservice. It's not as bad as it looks walking there from Belconnen town centre, but surely as one of our most prized tourist attractions and mascots, we could be improving this...

Why Google wants me to review this I have no idea. I was best when it was being graffitied and had to watch what they did next to clean it up. Now not so much. It is something that you drive past and most say, before they see the face, is that what I think it is??? Oh no it's ok...

I don't know how i feel about this, to be honest. It's just too funny and looks less like an owl and more like something inappropriate. However, this statue symbolises a powerful owl and is an important landmark in ACT. It's also quite a busy intersection, so parking can...
