Great fun for the kids but huge concerns around safety. 2 ‘lifeguards’ (pictured) on duty at any one time…both sitting in the one spot, neither of them paying attention (one more interested in working on his tan). Based on previous comments this doesn’t seem to be a new trend. The approach to visitor safety is light years behind any reputable themepark-styled attraction - or local swimming pool for that matter. Given the overcrowding and mixture of ages/sizes, I feel this place is just a disaster waiting to happen. Life jackets just aren’t a substitute for proper care and attention.

Fun place to spend time in the water. Some of the obstacles were too hard for little kids but we can swim across it. The staff were helpful and help the kids to cheat a couple of time.

I attended a 6pm session on Sunday afternoon. I had a fun time on the obstacle course which was well thought out to offer some challenges as well as playful spaces. That said, a few major concerns detracted from the event.

Firstly there was no safety briefing. We arrived thirty minutes early to sign our waivers and collect our life jackets (although this was not an instruction we were given, the crate of life jackets was just open to be accessed). At 6pm there was no “change” of session and those who were on the course stayed and a few new people joined. After a few minutes I approached the lifeguards who said they didn’t realise the safety briefing had been missed, and proceeded to give one that was barely thirty seconds. When I enquired as to if there was a time the 5pm session would move on, I received a shrug and was told they had blown a whistle but it was up to people on the course to leave.

Secondly, the lifeguards had no interest in doing their jobs. Soon after the session began they were playing on the course without life jackets, pushing people out of the way to run the obstacles. Several times myself and others helped small children along the course or back on after they fell off. The lifeguards also didn’t prevent people who clearly had not paid (no wristbands) from using the course.

Overall the actual course was well set-up, but the lack of accountability or interest from lifeguards to ensure the space was safe or run smoothly significantly detracted...

Extremely unprofessional staff and a very, very disturbing experience for my partner. We had only been on the course for 10 mins, when my partner got a little cut for which we were asked to leave the course and get a band-aid from a life guard; completely reasonable.

At this point, we were sitting on top of the platform for the pillow and my girlfriend got scared and didn't want to go down, but was being forced by the lifeguard at the top to go down. My girlfriend started crying, as she wasn't comfortable with jumping straight into the water from that height and so we asked to slide down the ramp and go into the water from there.

She refused and another staff member obliged allowed us to slide down, after which the first one completely denied refusing us to be able to slide down. Manager was apologetic, but I know nothing will come of the staff member who ruined the experience for us and then continued to stare us down as we left the course after a total of 20 minutes. Ticket was neither refunded, nor a second visit offered.

Update: The owners called me within a few hours of me posting this review and offered a full refund. I appreciate the quick response and proposed action. It was followed up by an email from one owner and a text from another owner. They have excelled in their conflict resolution skills and I am extremely happy with how they have handled the...

Staff were friendly. We had a great time bouncing and jumping into the water, except I had a super scary experience on the pillow. After falling backwards off the pillow, I fell between the cushions underwater, didn’t know where I was and felt trapped under the cushions. I took a big gulp of water in before kicking madly to get out and finally surfacing. Suggest either removing the pillow completely, or the lifeguard at the top needs to tell everyone this could happen and what to do if it does. Didn’t know if it was going to be my last breath with my two kids watching. My daughter told me afterwards she had the same experience last time she was there too, which was a shock. So that’s why she didn’t do the pillow this time. Apart from that, the slides, jump platforms, courses and everything else was great. Hopefully they can improve safety even more to help...
