My partner and I visited this evening prior to a little date dinner; expecting a bit of arcade fun before moving on.

Firstly; this little review takes into account this was our first time experiencing VR. We're both developers and are late to the VR party so worth mentioning the whole immersion and experience is incredibly worthwhile yet not what this small review is about.

We went hoping to experience some immersive space or ocean stuff - we certainly got that but upon asking the staff immediately accommodated us with choices and explanations as to what to have a go at next even though we only booked a small time slot.

I cannot stress enough how above and beyond this place went for us. During experiences the staff only gave us tips or hints simply to get the most out of it; and during the recommended multiplayer games encouraged the competitiveness (or cooperation!) only where necessary.

Whilst my partner and I were having fun just enjoying the multitude (read: an overwhelming, in the best sense) of games and laughing; they only chimed in where required.

They could see that we were having fun and of genuinely felt as if they were experiencing VR for the first time with us.

Though we were absolutely in our own little worlds; the little chuckles and guidance were more than welcome without taking away from the experience itself.

Again; VR itself aside - I highly, highly recommend even just a short timeslot. I cannot wait to get back next weekend to see what else the enthusiastic staff can recommend.

Worth noting while we were there; there was a bunch of fellas getting serious and enjoying their own competitive game without interruption. I think that's key to a ripper experience.

An easy 10 out of 10 from me. Perfectly handled from the staff with a quick succint safety/fun explanation at the start just in case overly-active blokes like me decide to jump up and...

I am absolutely amazed at how this place got any more than 1-star reviews.. Seriously.. the games are dated and nothing like what is shown in videos. Nowhere near the latest VR tech you would be expecting to pay for. PlayStation VR, 10 years ago, looked better than the games I played today @VRarrival. My kids spent more time getting set up on a game and waiting for help when the game glitched out. I had to take my own headset off and find someone to help after my daughter had her hand up for at least 5 minutes. My youngest daughter had more fun spinning in the chair, waiting for assistance.. Kids were excited when I said I booked them a VR session, as they had tried proper VR before, they left there extremely disappointed and would of rathered 50 bucks worth of Roblox to use on the PlayStation at home. Waste of time, money, and fuel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME..

*update - to add to this disappointment the company had made contact offering me more time there however ( no thanks ) also TOLD me that my children actually liked the games and had a great time based on audio and video footage .. really they were bored and wouldn’t of wanted to play any longer if it was offered . How rude Really , the bad experience was all they have talked about this weeknd and all the way home on Saturday as well as venting to their friends. Them also telling me that the games are world wide acclaimed state of the art. Maybe 10 years ago , calibrate your equipment and update the game library. Console games or Timezone VR 3d rabbid rabbits is higher quality . Rant over , good...

I recently had the chance to try out a virtual reality (VR) experience at this location, and overall, it was a fantastic time! The technology was cutting-edge, and the experience itself was incredibly immersive. The VR setup was smooth, the equipment was comfortable, and the graphics were impressive—definitely a fun and futuristic way to experience gaming!

The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure I was comfortable with the setup and were patient as I got acclimated to the VR environment. It's clear they’re eager to provide a great experience, and I appreciated their positive attitude throughout.

That being said, I did find that the staff could benefit from having a bit more knowledge about the specific games being played. While they were helpful in getting everything set up, I had a few questions about the game mechanics and options that weren’t fully answered. It would’ve been great if they were a bit more familiar with the different VR games available, so they could offer better guidance and recommendations during the session.

Despite this minor issue, I had a great time overall and would definitely return for more VR fun. I’m confident that with a bit more game-specific knowledge, the experience would be even better! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to dive into virtual reality for...

definitely fun for the kids, and those who don't have a chance to experience it at home. they've got about 8 stations - each with enough room to maneuver while playing, and games available are quite varied (with quite a bit of options). its definitely good for small groups, and you can have corporate bookings too - there are games for the individual, groups, and even "team building fun". staff are very helpful and friendly, and good for a chat. and for those wondering, they do have a process in place to make sure the equipment (headset, triggers) are cleaned after each use.

A great experience. Players, not just kids, can select various games or experiences. Games can be of a team nature or each can do their own. Experiences can range from underwater shipwreck, outer space or walking off a plank placed 50 storeys high. The venue can fit 8 players at one time and the staff are readily available to help if assistance is required. The team's very friendly and supportive. They also clean and disinfect all equipment between players. A locally owned and operated business.
