Stackwood — Attraction in Fremantle

What an absolutely gorgeous venue, a blank canvas to ignite creativity and hold an event that will 'wow' your guests! I was so lucky to host an event at Stackwood and it was the perfect backdrop to our 'Love Yourself' event we held for the Wonder Women Project. The staff were easy to work with, they answered any questions I had and was always helpful wherever they could accommodate.

The space is just gorgeous, from the back entry where you can park up vendor vehicles and the green grass space outside right through to the converted diesel workshop warehouse space with white washed brick walls and diffused natural light. The convenience of their coffee shop placed in a cute retail space full of greenery is an escape in itself with local businesses and studios running along the warehouse space. I cannot recommend this creative community space enough, it is certainly a show stopper for your next event, workshop, party or an absolutely perfect venue...

If booking an event be careful of their poorly worded Terms and Conditions, 50% of the full hire fee is required to book and no refunds are given for cancellation. $1850 is a lot to walk away from for no services rendered if you have to cancel a month after booking. Just making people aware ahead of booking.

Response: I am aware of that and I do respect that the Terms and Conditions protect the venue but there is also good will which was lacking especially when as a customer I offered to pay a cancellation fee to cover an 'costs' already incurred and cancelled with 10...

I went to Stackwood for the cafe, not knowing about any of its other offerings. Ordered a hot chocolate which was ready surprisingly quickly and as good as any. I noticed they offered a bunch of lunch options which looked nice. Inside was pretty and covered in plants. We sat outside which was nice but could benefit from partial shade options in the coming...
