Read moreThis is a great asset to the Gold Coast area. Lots of amenities including a great cafe/restaurant, a dog beach, public toilet enmities, good car parking facilities and great for a stroll along the paths taking in the views of South Stradbroke Island and the dolphins swimming in the seaway. A scuba/snorkelling access area is constructed in this area with wash down facilities. I observe lots of people fishing here also although they don't seem to catch the abundance of fish that are swimming beneath the surface. Watch the boats cruise in and out of the seaway while enjoying the park. Fantastic sights and when it gets too much just wander over to the cafe for a cool drink. I'm sure kids would like to explore the rocks around the water area but just be mindful that the water moves really quickly in the channel. Walk along the pier to the light house or go down to the dog off leash beach. Theres stairs down to the water to snorkel and dive. Lots of rocks to fish off. Theyve upgraded the car park which is a lot nicer. A little take away shop that you can sit in to eat or take away. Showers and toilets available. Great views of the broadwater, the spit, the ocean, marina and a view down the coast where you can see surfers paradise skylines. Great place for surfers and boogie boarders. Down the road from seaworld, tje trawlers and petes fish and chip shop where you can buy fresh seafood or have it cooked for you. This is such a great place for everyone to visit. Relax, walk, run, bike ride, canoe, surf, swim, snorkel, people watch, picnic, bbq and bring your dog....
