This is a great park to walk if you don't like sand between your toes. Not a lot of shade so take a hat. Play gym for kids. Markets used to be once a month but may be more frequent. It's big event is Cooly Rocks On, a classic car show with music everywhere, very safe. The surf club is a great place for a drink or lunch/dinner. It has the best views. Across the road from the park are lots of shops and restaurants. The next street over is the main street of Coolangatta. Parking varies, but you can usually get a park, although some is limited to 2hours. Toilets are at the both ends and there are a few picnic tables, but get in early. Beach is clean white sand....

Having rocks, sands and a creek in a same spot is always something special and you can see the landscape of the entire Gold Coast. There are also rocks and beaches in Burleigh Heads but not as spectacular as this one. Itâs so cool to see the water flowing from the drain outlet to the ocean.
