Kirra Beach once the best right hand barrel break in the world there's nothing better than to see kirra pumping I've surfed it 12foot and perfect very fast wave that would spit you out of that barrel like a shotgun, now once in a blue moon does kirra come to life but still one of the GC,s prettiest little beaches family friendly I've been surfing and swimming there since 1970. What a lot of people don't know that about 400 metres off the left hand side of the beach is a reef beautiful back in my day and plenty of fish and things to see under the water, What the Council has done not only to kirra but Snapper Rocks Greenmount is pump way to much sand in doing so destroying all 3 beaches surf banks and covering the reef Snapper and greenmount with to much sand real estate thing is the beaches were fine storm swell would take the sand an bring it back all the council has done is control it which in the long run destroys what once was, But hey its a great family beach and in my eye's one of the best waves in the world...π―...

ποΈ The 29 second video below - Kirra Beach πββοΈβοΈπποΈποΈ β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ Kirra Beach is on the southern end of the Gold Coast is a beautiful and popular spot for swimming, sunbaking and surfing. It's known for producing waves for beginners and experienced surfers alike. The beach is also patrolled by surf lifesavers so it's a safe place for families to swim. Kirra beach is a great place to spend a day at the beach. Their a number amenities including showers, toilets and a surf club. π₯Tip: Kirra Surf Club is a great place for a reasonably priced meal and a cold beverage. The views are stunning. Their are also plenty of other cafe's and restaurants nearby or BYO picnic basket for lunch on the beach or in one of the spots located along the foreshore. Parking is available in and around the car parks and side streets of Kirra. Overall Kirra Beach is a fantastic place for a day trip. ROAD TRIP'N www.roadtripn.blog

This is a great place for a walk in the sand and / or a swim. Walking through the soft sand on the way from the street is good exercise. There is a section of the beach red and yellow flags with lifesavers watching. It was a cloudy day when we visited but still warm and a hat and sunscreen were a good idea. There is even an area where a creek flows into a pond and it was not too deep so the kids could enjoy the water without having to worry about waves.

Do you know there are 12000 beaches in Australia and if you visit one every day it would take you 32 years to visit all of them? Go get ready, wear your suit and visit one today. Kirra beach is one of the widest and longest beach, beautiful and blue clear water with scenic views around. Highly recommended π There are no cafes nearby ( I am talking about Halal food) please take your own food supplies with you if you are going for whole day.

We stopped at Kirra Beach whilst visiting Cooly Rocks on Sunday, the beach β±οΈ was great and a nice spot to relax. I was lucky enough to get a carpark opposite the beach as it was jam packed, not too many people in the water. Has a beautiful restaurant located on the corner and clean public toilets. Please feel free to follow me on here and subscribe to my YouTube channel JayBBlogs for more reviews on places to go and eat π

This has got to be one of my favourite beaches ever. My family moved down to the coast when I was a teen, so always loved coming here. The traffic these days is crazy, and can be hard to find a parking spot. Better off coming on a week day, as the weekends are packed. Beautiful spot though, I love it here.
