We visited on the Thursday before the Easter weekend. The bar and waiting staff were great and the majority of meals were good however my daughter who regularly orders a Caesar salad and who works in a restaurant herself received a ‘poached’ egg that was solid and very cold. In my opinion it had most likely been cooked then frozen. We told the waitress who took it back to the kitchen only to be told that’s how it comes. We decided my daughter would eat the salad without the egg, then she found a hair in the salad. Not wanting the young waitress to have to go back to the kitchen as I could see she was uncomfortable I approached the chef at the pass. He told me that’s how it comes. I said that’s not how poached eggs should be served and there is a hair in the salad. I was told if I wasn’t happy go get a refund very rudely. Another waitress approached me to apologise for the chefs behaviour, followed by the original waitress who served me. I was given a full refund by the bar staff. As we were about to leave I noticed my other daughter had not eaten her schnitzel, originally I thought this was due to a bit of gristle and she was being fussy but I was later told by my daughter and some other members of our party that it was not cooked properly. Our party did have meals that were nice including my own and I would not be writing this review if the meal I complained about was replaced with an apology, however the attitude of the chef to feedback was extremely poor and I could see by the reaction of the waitresses that this behaviour was not a one off.

What an amazing place. Family and I are staying in the area for a holiday, stopped into Kirra Beach Surf Club for lunch and we were treated like we were part of the family. Gave us an amazing table with amazing view of the beach. The staff were very accommodating for our dairy allergy as well. The food was delicious, chicken wings, fish tacos, calamari. All very tasty, cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back again before we head home.

Kirra Beach Surf Club is located at 15 Marine Parade,Coolangatta QLD 4225, on Floor 1.

This is a wonderful place to visit & enjoy the cristal clear ocean views & at the same time enjoy a quality meal or a cool drink 🍸 😀 Also located downstairs & near the public carpark is Sibling's @ Kirra, a wonderful restaurant which caters to a large range of foods & a wide variety of drinks 🍸 😋 The Kirra Beach Surf Club 🏄‍♂️ 🌊 has been around for a long period of time & it never seems to disappoint. Everyone that I have ever had the pleasure of taking there for an outing has been most impressed 👌

Due to the popularity of this surf club, pre bookings are essential to ensure that you can relax & enjoy this special place at Kirra Beach ⛱️ There is onsite parking available, but it is quite limited.

There are other areas nearby, including street parking, where you can park.

People with disabilities are well looked after. There are toilets facilities onsite to ensure that everyone's needs are provided.

So, when visiting this part of the Southern end of the Gold Coast, enjoy some quality time at the Kirra Beach Surf Club 🏄‍♀️ ,you won't be...

The Kirra Surf Club situated right on the beach at Kirra it's one of the oldest Surf Life Saving clubs in Australia. Although it's only a small club, it offers the best possible view you could have of the coastline, white sands, vivid blue and turquoise waters through to Surfers Paradise, which is possibly as close as you would ever want to be to Surfers Paradise, as it's a nightmare. The meals are of a good quality, although like all Life Saving Club these days overpriced. They have daily specials and two for one for members on a Tuesday, lunch and dinner. So if you're in the area it's well worth becoming a member for a small fee, which entitles you to a very good discount on drinks as well as meals. Membership also entitles you to the members happy hour which is conducted daily Monday to Friday, not sure about weekends these days, between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. All in all it's a very good little club with friendly staff and a few characters to boot. Well worth dropping in if you're in the area....
