Sel Outridge Park — Attraction in Greater Brisbane

Good spot. Stayed here last night after picking up my new Explorer 4WD Motorhome August 2025. Backed up with a nice spot overlooking the water. Parking area is a free-for-all in a big gravel area. I was parked pretty level.

Toilet building facilities at this spot with toilet paper, sink, and hand soap!

Spot was pretty quiet overnight and gently started to come alive around 7:30am, with families with children and dogs on their morning walk along...

...starting at Sel Outridge Park you'll find one of the most attractive walks in the Redlands. Head left (North) along the foreshore paths, beneath the Hotel, between shady Vine scrub.. 1.6Km later you'll reach the Golf Club, return... then pat yourself on the back for a healthy pretty walk.

Want something longer? Try the other side of Weinam Creek. Park off Moores Road on the esplanade. Walk South 2.6Km along the foreshore....

Little beach was full of glass!!! Had to take very disappointed young child that wanted a paddle back home again. Access to beach was difficult over the rocks. Playground was ok but more activities needed and shade covers. Park would suit older children though...goal posts, cricket pitch etc. Big area to run around. Also toilets close by. Walking path was closed off a bit further along 🤷‍♀️. Won't...
