Early start 4.30am to Adelaide for our tour of Kangaroo island. More to come. Wow Wow Wow The best day in a long time. From bus to ferry to bus and from south to east west and north on the island. Arrive on kangaroo island at 8.30am for tour. Scott the coach driver from Sealink ( lives on the island) knew his stuff and never stopped talking telling the history of the island and its life and chatted the whole time. The guided tour is an awesome way to find out how it all began with lunch provided on the way with ongoing site seeing and telling stories before going back to the ferry at 7.30pm to AUSTRALIA!!. Then Back to Adelaide central bus station at 10.30pm to drive to Glenelg by 11pm to accommodation. Long day worth every penny spent. FYI Glenelg is a palandrome. Spelt the same way back...

This ferry is absolutely not suitable to carry motorcycles on a professional way. I loaded my adventure motorcycle on the 8th of January 2020 and the workers on of the ferry did not have absolutely any idea how to tie up on a proper way the motorcycle using rustics ropes and non proper equipment. they tie up the bike extremely hard with the rustic ropes causing the front steering wheel get damaged as a result of the strain/force they used to tie up the bike against the floor or whatever it’s called. I had to ride to Adelaide the get the steering wheel fixed by a motorcycle dealer which cost me hundreds of dollars and 2 days delayed. Please if you’re going to put your motorcycle on the ferry think twice as those guys are absolutely careless and morons with no...

The Ferry going over was like a roller coaster. Alot of people we sea sick because of the sea. The ride back was much calmer. They helped me get on & off the boat with a special wheelchair. Everyone was friendly & helpful. Alot of construction still underway. My carer had to drop me the reception, didn't tell us there was a lift till 2 late. Then he had to park way down hill, then when boarding he had to retrieve car to load onto Ferry. No clear signage or directions to follow loading & unloading procedures. Getting back on land he had to leave me at the top of the terminal & park car then get me to wait until he retrieved car from where he parked down the hill. Needs carpark flattened & finished concreted & level with the terminal. That...

Terminal staff pleasent but the loading and unloading of vehicles is not for the faint hearted! Vehicles are packed so tight its a safety issue and high probability of vehicles being damaged! As you reach port to reach your car you have to clamber over handrails and squeeze through parked cars. But cannot get into them as the cars are parked in my case 1cm from my car! Further on driving the vehicles off to pick up a passenger (they have to walk on and off) is a free for all nightmare with vehicles banking up, stopping in the road anything to collect their passengers. Very dangerous. The whole thing is a WHS issue. Pictures show how a car and trailor were parked alongside my vehicle.
