A relatively small but busy jetty on the day I was there. Refrigerated vans drive to the end of the jetty and greet the crayfish boats as they come to moor. No time is wasted transferring the catch to the vans. As one van leaves, another arrives to greet the next boat. The main attraction for me was a pod of 4 dolphins swimming around the jetty in the shallow water close to the shore. For quite some time they splashed around playing with a fish they had caught. That being said, if you don't mind the Hustle of carrying all your gear & fishing away from ya vehicle then there's still chance of decent action for those willing to put in some hours. Lano really needs a new separate installation. Away from the commercial boats who primarily use Jetty for refuelling & co-op access. It was also to give our dog a chance to walk around for a bit after being in the car for most of the day. The jetty is in the middle of the Lancelin Beach and has a cafe nearby.
