To the extremely rude lady who served me yesterday, I understand that I mistakenly ordered two coffee, I apologised, I took one coffee and was kindly leaving. I had already paid for 2 coffee and pizza in advance, didn’t blamed anything on you, was leaving with a smile and then you show your rudest expression ever. When I asked you why are being rude , instead of apologetic behaviour you targeted me by telling I repeated the order and you said yes, I agreed yes I had confirmed and nothing to blame you but your face was like you want to kill me. What made you think you can do that? I wear a hearing device and low voices like yours are hard to get into my ears. And such occasions are not new for me as I have a disability and I can’t blame others for my hearing issues. 100% of the time people have been kind before you. I was trying to understand through lip read, I didn’t asked for refund I wasn’t causing any drama but your expression and that smirking nod made me realise I shouldn’t be out on myself. I have to have someone with me to correctly handle everything. You reminded me of my disability. I couldn’t hear so sometimes my voice gets bit higher which is not yelling, the way you asked me to not yell was another cruel reminder and again your facial expression. After this you had the audacity to come to me to give $5 refund which I didn’t asked and you forced me as if I purposely did such thing. After my denial you went in speed by saying I’ll give you refund in cash, which I repeatedly said I never asked about refund. Thanks you didn’t came back. Thanks for reminding that people like me aren’t allowed to travel solo, Thanks for ruining my birthday. Your over empathetic and kind behaviour shouldn’t be spread across hospitality staff. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. A gentle reminder, try to be kind to everyone irrespective of the race,...

We visited Christmas Eve and were all looking forward to a surf and turf. Admittedly we did arrive shortly before 8pm when the kitchen closes at 8pm - we did call ahead to check it was ok. We were bitterly disappointed to say the least.

We spent nearly $350 on food and drinks for 6 adults, a 7 year old and a 2 year old, who normally eats everything and anything. We'd have spent more on drinks but there's no eftpos at the bar and the atm charge is $2.50 to get cash out.

In hindsight the staff attitudes displayed on the phone and at the counter should've been a clear indication of what we could expect in our meals. After being told we couldn't order well done "because of the time" we ordered 4x reef & beef, 3x 200g steaks and 1x kids meatballs. We asked if we could have a kids Christmas pack for the 7yr old, who had to order a $30 adults steak as there was no steak option for kids, and were told to pay $2.50 extra as it's only included in the kids meals. It seemed even calculating our total was too difficult and was met with an "oh for F* sake".

The 2 yr old refused to touch her meal and proceeded to eat the salad and chips off everyone else's plates. We paid $30 for a 200g steak and $39 for a 300g steak only to find there was no difference between the two and each closely resembled a well worn thong. To add salt to the wound those who paid an additional $8 received 4 prawns spanning no wider than 3 prongs on the end of the fork. The garlic sauce that flooded the plates was tasteless and watery and the chips were mouldy.

When clearing my plate the staff member reached over my shoulder without saying anything and my polite "thank you" was met with absolutely no response or recognition whatsoever.

All in all the only thing enjoyable about our experience was the view.

Staff: 1 Food:...

Sometimes when you walk into a pub you get the feeling that you know what's coming. Walking into Endeavour Tavern I felt as though my expectations should be low given the appearance being a bit tired and the car park needed attention. Searched for a table outside and quickly realised the one with the seagulls was free as people had just vacated! The staff were quickly on the scene to clear the food as after all we are right on the beach and that's where seagulls live! Ordered food at the bar and collected food at the bar. Service was efficient and perfect for what was needed. Busy place, keep the customers rolling through but at the same time you never felt rushed. Bar service - plenty of staff to help and serve - excellent. Price of Carlton Dry $6.50 very good. Food came out and we collected it with our cutlery and condiments. Seafood platter - all very good quality. Fish was lovely and batter top notch. Prawns excellent. Kids meals were a good size. Kids burger was pretty much the adults burger minus salad. Others at our table had Garlic Prawns which were a great size and very yummy, mussels which were very good and a beef burger which was very good - old school pattie. The view was perfect, uninterrupted view of the beach and outside tables are spot on in terms of ratio. Not too many to feel crammed in which is important. Whilst the inside is in bad need of a renovation, it would likely mean increasing prices so it's a tough balance. Keep what you are doing for as long as you can because places like this are few and far between. We will always have lunch or dinner here when in Lancelin and you have our custom for as long as your doing...

It was super crowded at night, even though we came before Easter/Good Friday. I was honestly stunned by the vibe of this place. The moment I stepped in, I was hit by the loud, buzzing energy of the bar area—people watching football, drinking beer, and if I’m not mistaken, even placing bets on matches with the betting machines right there. Through the next room is the ordering counter, kitchen, and dining area. The smell of food fills the space (so maybe don’t waste your perfume—it’ll be totally overpowered anyway šŸ˜‚). Out the back is a gorgeous outdoor seating area with ocean views—absolutely stunning, though a bit windy. The food was actually pretty decent, but the wait was kinda long. Greenlip mussel is a bit salty. No real complaints… except that I’ve heard the owner is racist and pays Asian staff less than others. That’s seriously unfair. And honestly, that might be enough of a reason for me to think twice before coming back to this place next time I’m in Lancelin. 😤

Cooll country pub situated right on the ocean front but I still don't think we'll ever beat those windsurfer nights of the late 90's... If anyone's intermarket research and polls it would be interesting to contact punters who attended those Iconic after parties.. Let's find out the truth of whether they ever had a better night in their life.... ... cos I'm not sure I have... They were so underground & off tap it was Criminal Sleaze meets Euro Glam melting into a sweaty friendly vibe possibly not felt anywere else in Oz,, bands to match, SJ&TF for years,,, and Always, 100% always seemed to be that night you heard about on Tuesday an wished your life you never missed out on!! Bring back Windsurfers plz... * food and beer today was nice

Haven’t been up here for years. Not a bad drive up that way. Sunday had a nice chill vibe with families and kids running around. Dog friendly so there was lots of pooches. View is still stunning as ever. For how busy they were, the food came out quite quickly and wasn’t too bad! Steak sandwich was decent except quite a bit overcooked. Fish and chips were decent- one of the better ones I’ve had recently (even if it was quite oily) salt and pepper squid was ok but a bit lacklustre tbh. Beer selection is next to nothing. I don’t classify ā€œGage Roads Single finā€ as a craft beer but hey guess you have to appeal to the locals who love a great northern or bush chook!
