Doug Larsen Park — Attraction in Logan City

Water way needs cleaning pipes blocked water smells. Seats need cleaning . Tables need washing ants in tables and sitting not enjoyable for kids plus ants on food before you can even finish setting up because ants living in tables and seating. But is a beautiful place and relaxing. Council need to pick there game up and do some work on it . Eg....Toilets need cleaning and tables and sits. Plus the water way. Council needs to pick there game up as lots of park areas are in this shape. Doug Larsen Park beautiful place lots of fun . Beenleigh Council are just to lazy to fix and clean the place up. Sorry just being honest you have to call it how you see it. Kids love the place but as a parent am worried about health and safety for my child. Great park. Plenty of free parking, toilets at carpark, not very clean though. Plenty of picnic tables but only a few near the playground. The playground equipment was very good. Circle swing over by a hammock sea saw and trampolines. There's a merry go round, little boat kids can play on which has 2 steering wheels, there's 4 toddler swings and 4 big kid swings, a climbing structure which is great for ages 3+ There is also a really good section which caters for 18m+ which has stair access or ramp access with 2 small slides and 2 bigger slides. If you go for a bit of a walk there's a couple more smaller playgrounds along the way, a lot of birdlife, bin chickens, ducks too. There's a dog park too...

This park has lots of equipment for the kids. It is a perfect place for the whole family. It also is a perfect place to throw a birthday party as there are lots of tables around and they have a roof. There are a few spots where you can have a bbq as well. If you like exercising, there are a few equipments along the walking track and the scenery is decent. There are lots of birds and it never gets boring :)... one thing I must mention, which is how i remember this park, is the pole in the middle of the big lake! I assume there was no lake there before?
