This place is my everything - my sanctuary, my solace, my salvation. It holds the most precious memories of my life and the dreams of countless souls in this community. I still remember the day a very important person brought me here, but back then, I was foolish, narrow-minded, and cruel. I blinded myself to the beauty and goodness around me, and I lost my way.

But life has a way of bringing us back to where we belong. And after a long and arduous journey, I found my way back to this place - this spiritual haven that has transformed me from the inside out. It's here that I discovered the true power of love, kindness, and compassion, and it's here that I found my faith and my purpose.

This place has inspired me beyond measure, and it's because of this community and its people that I've become the person I am today - kinder, more sincere, and luckier than I ever thought possible. My heart will always be here, in this sacred space that has helped me grow and evolve in ways I never thought possible.

I'm forever grateful for this place and the people who call it home. It's where I learned to be a great man, and it's where I'll always find my way back to - no matter where life takes me.

Bright Moon Buddhist Temple in my opinion is the biggest and also the best Chinese Buddhist Temple in the Melbourne outer suburbs in Springvale! It is open to the public 7 days a week from 10am - 4pm! The temple is designed and made with very traditional Chinese architecture and Chinese Buddhist style and beliefs! I am Buddhist myself and was educated in Buddhism in China and Thailand so to me it was amazing! It is located on Springvale road only 5 minutes from Springvale station by bus! There is quite a large carpark there also if travelling by car! Today was my first time visiting this particular temple and I was not disappointed in the least! I recommend anyone that follows Chinese Buddhism or any other countries Buddhism to pay a visit, you will not be...

*Due to very unfortunate circumstances, the temple was ravaged by a very serious fire on 5 Feb 2023. We can only pray for the temple to be rebuilt in the near future. 💔

This is a very serene temple located in Springvale.

Once you enter the temple grounds, you are greeted by the beautifully stone carved statue of the Goddess of Mercy which is in the middle of a water feature.

The temple is located on the top of the steps where you will see 3 shrines. You will have a sense of peace when you enter into the shrines to pray or just meditate. There is peace and quiet on the grounds and there is a beautiful view from the top of the steps.
