KV Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Melbourne

Went to buy large chips. The chips were slightly green and were cut unevenly. It looked like it needed hyrdation. I saw the chips, prepared in frying basket on standby, and looked like it was ready to fry. It was white from the starch. But not sure if they cleaned those fries. It was cash only. The fries were okay. The potato was alright. However there was slightly a bad after-taste. It tasted like the oil was old, reused. I wasn't sure if the oil or fryer was cleaned. When we came in the store, after the shop opened, one of the staff members (probably one of the owners) wasn't paying attention when we called the first time. Some of the best fried chicken around!! Small little older takeaway but the they punch well above their weight when it comes to flavourful moist fried chicken.
