Went here on the opening weekend, the place seem to have attracted a fair amount of people. Previously the restaurant was called something else, still serve same cuisine, just change of management and name.
Back ground info - Tra Vinh is a suburb in South VN. One of the local dishes there is Bun Mam. This restaurant's name is suggesting that their speciality is a dish called "bun mam".
Tip - get cooked veggies, for insurance of hygiene. Since they don't wash veggies as thoroughly as you'd at home.
Our experience: Don't expect good services at restaurants like this, it's not what they're known for. Services for our table was below average, their scale. Our orders got mixed up, took 30 mins for it to come out.
We ordered 2 x bun mam (fermented fish vermicelli noodle soup and 1 x salt n pepper, chicken ribs rice dish. Rice dish came with a salad side, there was a bug in the salad. Showed it to them, got it swapped over, but only after 15 mins additional wait time.
Serving size is ok. Seasoning for the rice dish needs improving, our dish was quite bland. Standard Prices are quite high for the dishes, but is OK with Grand Opening 20%discount. Overall, not a great opening experience for us. Hope you'll have...

The lady at the counter said she is busy and she could not check, and we have to wait. We are already in panic as all credit cards, bank cards, driver license and heaps of important cards are in that wallet, I started having a chat with other customers as maybe they noticed something. Luckily there is a nice lady customer who sympatized with us and trying to help us find it. We spotted it in the chair of another customer blended in his jacket. My husband might accidentally thought he inserted it in his pocket...
Read moreFirst time here and a very conveniently located place, though it can get busy when it's lunch time. Pictured is the special broken rice and spicy salt and pepper chicken on rice. Also had the orange juice, which was more of a smoothie but pulpy which is exactly how I like it, no what I'm sayin? I wish they didn't use plastic cup for it though for when dining in. Broken rice was really good, the meat was juicy and the egg was perfect for me. Pickled carrots were very juiced up but I love that. Salt pepper chicken was on point, I'd be back here just for that. The staff is very friendly...
