There is really something for everyone here! Trash and treasures, you will definitely find something special. You will find things ranging from $1 to $700 so be prepared, and of course most things are open to negotiation. Open from 6:30am - 12:30pm and there is a gold coin donation to enter. Pick up a delicious hot chocolate or coffee from one of the vans, and some hot jam donuts 🤤 Masks are required in the market as this is their current agreement with the council. Stall-holder info: I’ve held a few stalls here and it’s definitely a hit and miss depending on so many factors - weather, time of year, public holidays ect. A stall cost $67 and you can book these through their app which is soo handy. You are able to hire racks and tables from them. We usually arrive at about 5am to set up early and avoid cars banking up. It is abit difficult in the dark though, and so many people start going through your things while you’re getting ready, just politely tell them to come back later.

The Camberwell Sunday Market is a bustling market in Melbourne, Victoria that takes place every Sunday. It features a variety of stalls selling antiques, vintage clothes, crafts, and fresh food. It’s a fun place to explore and find unique items, and there’s often some live music to enjoy as you browse. The market usually operates from early morning 7am until about 12.30 PM. The atmosphere was lively, with a great mix of stalls offering everything from unique antiques to trendy vintage clothing. I particularly enjoyed browsing the handmade crafts and discovering local food vendors with delicious snacks. The vibe was friendly, and the crowd noise added to the overall charm. It’s definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy a Sunday filled with shopping and good food!

A charming Sunday market full of surprises! This vibrant outdoor market is a great way to spend your weekend. You’ll find more than just secondhand clothes — there are flower bouquets, potted plants, and even cozy coffee trucks serving up great brews. Right next door is another indoor market, and the surrounding area is dotted with cafés, making it a lovely spot to hang out and explore. Many vendors offer clothing at clearance prices, and you can pay by card or cash. Just keep in mind: it closes quite early — around 11:30 AM, they begin making closing announcements and stalls start packing up. Tip: Arrive early to enjoy the full experience and to secure a parking spot — it gets busy quickly! Highly recommend for anyone who loves vintage finds and local vibes.

If you love treasure hunting and enjoy a unique shopping experience, then Camberwell Market is an absolute must-visit! This iconic market offers a diverse and exciting mix of vintage finds, secondhand goods, fresh produce, and much more. Whether you're looking for rare antiques, quirky homewares, or delicious food, Camberwell Market has something for everyone. My recent visit was an unforgettable experience, and it’s safe to say that this market has earned every bit of its 5-star reputation.

Atmosphere: The moment you step into Camberwell Market, you’re immediately enveloped by its lively, buzzing atmosphere. The market has a charming, slightly nostalgic feel, with a mix of vintage stalls, friendly vendors, and an eclectic crowd. It’s vibrant and full of character, with music playing in the background and a palpable sense of excitement in the air. Whether you’re strolling around with friends or browsing solo, it’s easy to get caught up in the joy of discovering something unique. The market is well-organized, and the stalls are thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to navigate and explore at your own pace.

Variety and Selection: What really sets Camberwell Market apart is its incredible variety. You can find almost anything here—from antique furniture and vintage clothing to rare vinyl records, collectibles, and artisan crafts. I was particularly impressed by the impressive range of secondhand goods, including books, jewelry, and home décor. It’s the perfect place to find hidden gems you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re a bargain hunter or just love the thrill of stumbling upon something special, this market offers something for all tastes and budgets.

Fresh Produce and Food Stalls: For those who love fresh produce, Camberwell Market is a great place to pick up local, seasonal fruits and vegetables. The food stalls are equally impressive, offering a variety of delicious treats. From gourmet coffee to freshly baked pastries, there’s something to satisfy every craving. I had a fantastic coffee from one of the local vendors, and the aroma of fresh bread and grilled food filling the air made it even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking to grab a snack while you shop or need ingredients for your next meal, the food offerings here won’t disappoint.

Vendor Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff: The vendors at Camberwell Market are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had a great chat with one of the antique sellers, who shared interesting stories about the items they were selling. The people running the stalls are genuinely passionate about what they do, and it shows in the way they interact with customers. Whether you’re hunting for something specific or simply enjoying a leisurely browse, the friendly staff make your visit feel personal and enjoyable.

Parking and Accessibility: Camberwell Market is located in a central area, and parking is relatively easy to find, though it can get a bit busy on weekends. For those using public transport, it’s easily accessible by bus or train, making it convenient for anyone in the Melbourne area. There are also bike racks for cyclists, which is a nice touch for those who prefer to bike there.

Overall Experience: Overall, my experience at Camberwell Market was fantastic. It’s the perfect place to spend a few hours discovering new and exciting finds while enjoying great food and a friendly atmosphere. The variety of items on offer, from vintage treasures to fresh produce, means that there's something for everyone. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area—it’s not just a market, but an experience in itself.

Whether you're a local or visiting from out of town, Camberwell Market is a 5-star destination that you definitely don’t want to miss. It’s a place where you can shop, explore, and discover hidden gems, all while enjoying a vibrant and welcoming environment. I’ll be...

The Camberwell Sunday Market has steadily gotten worse and more pointless over the years. Although it is called a market, it is much more like a trash and treasure type deal just focusing much more heavily on the trash than the treasure. The best description for it would be a giant garage sale with 2 or 3 food vans a miniature pop up plant nursery, and the other 95% of sellers there literally are selling, rocks, old worthless household junk, clothes that the salvos would reject, old books, records, second hand tools of various usefulness, very old, worn and out of fashion art, whether paintings, photos, lithos or the like. It really is the most disappointing market I think I've been to, and it hurts to say that considering I've lived in Camberwell all my life. The can shakers from the Rotary club that are responsible for the market don't even bother policing the gold coin entry fee that they used to staunchly demand. So clearly, even the Rotary club are well aware of just how pitiful and boring this market is. The only thing I can recommend it for is off loading your own unwanted garage sale style goods, that the salvos won't take and the Boroondara Counsel charge you to dump. You can pay approx $15 for a spot at the market and you can cross your fingers with all the other hopefuls that you may get lucky and be able to get rid of your burden and make a dollar or 2 along the way. The market is open from around 6am-11am and has never drawn a huge crowd as a market has to be really quite impressive to bother missing your sleeping in day to attend. The city Council and Rotary Club don't care and they are out of ideas as to how to resurrect the market.... It's not going to happen. My humble and honest advice is to stay in bed and don't bother checking this one out, it's not...
