You get amazing views at the top, can see the CBD on the horizon. It looked beautiful, as if it is floating on clouds.
Car park at the base point (not where Arthur seat is), is very limited. I saw cars parked at odd places as there were not enough parking spaces.
Cafe at the Arthur seat can get busier on weekends. Had to wait about 15 -20 mins to get our coffee and hot chocolate. We got our self serve food first.
Toilets at Arthurs seat and eagle cafe is not accessible as it has a few stairs to get down to. Where as at the base point it does seem to have accessible Toilets with a ramp to get to if you park right at the entrance which I wasn't sure how to get to. We had to use a few stairs when we parked a bit ahead of the entrance as it said no entry to the entrance when we reached there. Gave one less star for...
Read moreI came down from Sydney to Melbourne for a little getaway, and visiting EAGLE - Cable Cars was absolutely worth it! This place has something for everyone – whether you’re with family, kids, or just out for some fresh air and adventure.
We started off with a lovely walk along the trails, which were so peaceful and had some great views. Then we stopped by the café for a coffee and snack – perfect to refuel.
The highlight, of course, was the cable cars! The ride was such a fun experience with amazing views of the surrounding area. It’s relaxing but exciting at the same time.
If you’re in Melbourne, this is one of those spots you can’t miss. Great vibes, beautiful scenery, and fun for all ages....

Despite the windy weather that is characteristic of the December season and the slight chill in the air, it added an enchanting touch to the adventure. All in all, it was a truly fantastic experience.
Upon reaching the other end, there were refreshments offered at the shop and chance to buy souvenirs.
