What a fantastic local resource here. The nursery stocks some great Aussie Natives for your garden. Run by volunteers that have clearly worked wonders. The Botanic Garden is an evolving delight that has expanded and improved each time I have visited. Friends of the Melton Botanic Garden are amazing. The nursery has such a great range of local plants. I picked up some beautiful golden billy buttons and emu bushes that are thriving. The volunteers are welcoming and always happy to give advice…which makes the whole place feel really down-to-earth and community minded. A lovely spot to visit...

I would have given 5 stars but it lacks one due to the lack of dog poo bags. Walking through there is multiple piles dog waste and it is left to the brilliant volunteers to remove. I know the volunteers would gladly distribute the bags to the bag outlets if the council supplied the them.
