Buns N Slices — Restaurant in Melbourne

Saw it on social media and got hipped up. Had to try after seeing the review. Drove 40k just to try their menu. Pretty small and cozy restaurants with fair few seating indoor. They have a huge menu and wide varieties of selection, from brunch to pizzas, kebabs and burgers and more. We opted for their signature dirty burger which had Angus beef patty and southern fried chicken. We also ordered the beef brisket burger which was tender and quite nice. I believe they make everything fresh as it took some time. The burgers looked exactly like in the picture and social media and it was quite good. Chips would have been better with more seasonings and if only it was more crisper as requested! Service was friendly and price reasonable for the size of the burger. Beef patties could be better with more seasoning. Had a bit of strong smell to it. And yes it is Halal as per Mentioned on the sign.

P.S. please may need to look into keeping the toilet a bit clear as it’s right next to the kitchen and didn’t looked the best and for hygiene purpose as well!

Update: ( in response to the restaurant) - appreciate your response but re toilet, regardless of whether it’s for customers or not, it’s very concerning by the looks of the toilet hygiene which is right in the kitchen. Also if it’s only used by staff then even more of a reason it should be kept cleaner. If that’s the condition of the toilet then cannot imagine what’s...

Totally disappointed with their service. I ordered pizza deal and a burger. I then asked for tomato sauce on which the staff did not inform us that they will be charging extra “$2” for a tomato sauce which was not even a single person serving(it was too less). After that I went to the counter to pay and requested for a takeaway box for leftover food, on which the owner said they charge extra for a pizza takeaway box! If you are charging for any extras atleast they should be mentioned somewhere in the store. And what about the takeaway orders that they get, do they charge for each box on top of the price? I guess not! Moreover, the owner’s attitude and facial expressions were totally unacceptable and not to mention their customer service overall. It was my first and last visit for sure. Anyone who plans on heading there, please ask for all the HIDDEN CHARGES...

Not my first visit here, but Saturday night with the fam for burgers- (two adults, three teens). We had all seen the TikTok reviews raving about this place, and we’re not disappointed! AH-mazing! The guys working were friendly and provided a great service. Burgers took a little while, however- I can wait for perfection. Burgers were hot, juicy, HUGE, and fresh. Buns were soft and the fries were crispy! The food was A1. Kids weren’t a big fan of the Philly cheese fries, but the truffle fries were an absolute smash hit!!
