Our place to go in the Dandenongs Mountain. Husband goes here every Sunday for his morning walk. I go every now and then. An excellent place for fungi photography. Lyrebirds to listen too and if lucky get a photo, kangaroos are also there early in the morning in the top. And the Cafe and its food and owners are Delightful and food dishes yummy. Watch for the awesome decorations they place In the Cafe. The only thing that bother us are the nasty disgusting people that leave their rubbish after picnics. Seriously... Keep the park clean for...

Beautiful walks through the rainforests just 30-40km on the edge of Melbourne CBD. John - our volunteer guide was the most wonderful person, carrying us along the path, helping with information on the forest, flora and fauna. Saw many lyrebirds, learnt about the pines, ferns and wombats. Steep walk, but part of it is suitable for assisted climbers. Best...

The place can get quite busy on weekends and parking may be an issue. But still worth a visit. The birds are so used to bring hand fed they land in your shoulder or head.
