The “Mystery Palate” was unfortunately incredibly disappointing. I’ve had looking forward to trying this place for the last year since I moved near the area and was so intrigued by their Mystery Palate mixed pizza, which heavily claimed “not for the fussy” and “no 2 slice the same”, i’m not vegetarian but this sounded fun. Based on the cohesion of the other vegetarian pizzas and their extensive ingredient list and the variety of options, one would heavily assume that this pizza would have the same, especially as it was at $5+ more than every other vegetarian pizza and including “no 2 slices of the same pizza”. Unfortunately it was just a mismatched uncohesive bunch of ingredients of what probably whatever wasn’t selling as well that night, put together without any thought for which flavours would work with each other, with each piece being the exact same, but maybe with a bit more or less of an ingredient featured more heavily on another slice.

I’ll definitely be back because all of the other pizzas sounded amazing and my friends pizza was delicious, but really disappointed with the claims and price for a mixed pizza when it really was just a significantly more expensive pizza with random thoughtless...

Not what it used to be. Bad service, orders get mixed up and late. Quality has been cut down. It's a pity UPDATE: I was asked to be more specific so here it is: Over the past 3 months we made 4 orders in different occasions. Not even once was the order ready at the time that was given over the phone. Last one was late by 25 minutes, didn't even get an apology for letting me wait outside the place for so long while I was there on time. They let my wife wait on the line when she made the order and for some unknown reason got her mixed up with a different order. Also, pizza that was ordered as "aubergine" ended up being 90% capsicum and 10% aubergine.

As I said before - quality has been significantly cut down and this is after giving the place a chance over and over again for their...

I have been a regular at Mad Raven for a number of years. I live locally and this is in my opinion the highest quality pizza in the hills. As an Italian, my standards for pizza are quite high and i can genuinely say I have never once been disappointed. The sourdough base is fresh and consistently cooked to perfection. It is well worth the money! I am a big fan of the mad raven salad as well. Really zesty and fabulous accompaniment to the pizza. When we dine in it’s always a cosy and warm atmosphere. Bookings are essential. The service is excellent and Marina (the owner) always greets us with warmth and wonderful hospitality. I love the fact that it is small, cosy and a family run business....

We drove 1.5 hours to get to Mad Raven Hot Stone Pizza, and let me tell you, it was WELL WORTH IT! The pizza was absolutely awesome! The crust was perfectly cooked, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My wife and I shared the special of the day, the Mortadella and Pistachio Pizza, and it was truly sumptuous! The combination of dairy cream, grana padana, lemon zest, and crushed roasted pistachio was absolute perfection. Our kids had the Cheesy Tom pizza, and it was a huge hit with them! They devoured the entire pizza, which is very rare for our kids to eat that much. Highly, highly recommended! Don't hesitate to make the trip, you won't regret it. We can't wait to come back!

My partner and I came here for our anniversary, the staff were so lovely I can’t find the words to describe it, the restaurant is so cute and cosy too. The pizzas were amazing I looked and mine and couldn’t help but say “I could eat two of these to myself” haha they were so nice the base was beautiful, not too doughy and not too crunchy just perfect, the sauce was lovely and toppings beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the mountains
