Heard a lot about the cafe and went there for the first time today. I had worst experience visiting this place. I don't understand why do Nepalese restaurants takes Nepalese people for granted. We understand that it was valentines day and it would have been busy day, but making customer wait until 2hrs for just 3 dishes? Seriously? First off all, we reached there at 7:30 we ordered two plates of momos , one set lamb sukuti set and chicken chilli. Literally one set of momo came after 45 minutes of waiting. And then comes sukuti set. After half an hour. Again we waited until 9:20 until we called waitress and asked if we are getting our chicken chilli and momo. And there they asks us who took our order and what our order was. Dear restaurant owner or whoever, !! We come to your place not for other purpose but satisfying our hunger. Not everyone has enough time to just chill and wait on the same table for couple of hour for just three dishes. The other couple who came after us ate and left an hour before us. And, the most amazing thing to see is they have no concern that how upset the customer is, or how hungry they might be that they waited till two hours just to get the food because at 10 o clock at that busy night we would have no other restaurant as an option to go and reorder...

When I asked a female staff member if I could get a table for four, she replied in Nepali, saying, 'Table 2 ma basnu na lah vanera'. In my five years of working in the hospitality industry, . Typically, if a guest speaks in a language we understand, we reply in the same language. The staff member was speaking English with foreigners, so I expected the same courtesy. We also ordered Khukuri Rum, but after 6-7 minutes, the server asked if we had received our drink, and when we said no, he still didn't bring it. I saw him tell the lady, 'Can you serve the drink to table number 2?' and then she came to our table and asked again, 'Do you need one drink or two??Instead of inquiring with us about our order, they ought to have verified the details with the staff member who had taken our order. The food was amazing, but I was hoping for a better experience with both good food and good service." In my overall experience, I felt like nepali lai j garda pani chalihalxa ni vaneko jasto...
Read moreIf one is craving for Nepalese or north indian street food its one of the options that one can explore... Promoting Nepalese food like choila momos...goat curry rice.. and "Thupka" (it' more of tibetan 😉 ) is a great effort by magic momos. Smoky taste and less oily Chowmien is one of my childhood school canteen memories that was reinstated...Variety of momos @ low price ..like 10 momos for 10$ is not a bad deal. And for those who feel sause they offer with momos is bland, dont be shy to ask for chilli sause 😉... ambience is ok (but its ok for a street food touch 🙄) ... and yeahhh service might be bit slow when it gets crowded.. may be due to lack of staff or small kitchen with single chef whatsoever be the case. I visited there twice this week... All the best to staff for keeping up the spirit of Nepalese cuisine ...
