Hedgeley Dene is one of the prettiest manicured public garden in the eastern suburbs. Built around 1924, this garden is very popular among the young and old. It is easy to walk around, very quiet and peaceful. A great place to relax and read a book on the bench, watch the ducks or picnic with friends and family on the lawn. Read moreAn honestly breathtaking park, with an incredible little pond/lake, surrounded by sprawling, lush green lawns which are perfect for relaxing on or having a picnic.
Extremely photogenic and pretty bridges, beautiful flora with tall leafy trees. The park also continues down to Waverly road, which is nice for a walk to get some steps in.
The park is always immaculately well groomed, I've never seen the grass too tall or weeds encroaching.

We entered from the Malvern Rd end, crossing Ferncroft & then Glenbrook Avenues. We passed people of all ages. This place lives up 2 its name. It's a lovely garden with all kinds of plant life made interesting through colour & texture arrangements.
