This place is such a little gem tucked away near Central Park, and the number of locals that popped in during our visit makes that very clear! We had the avocado, tomato and danish feta bruschetta, the beetroot quiche, a soy capp, the peach iced tea (special) and a blueberry muffin. The menu has clearly been put together with care as all the flavours worked together beautifully and the produce was high quality and delicious. The bruschetta might not look substantial enough to carry all that avo, feta and a poached egg but don't let it fool you! The coffee was delicious and well-made, and the peach iced tea should seriously be added to the permanent menu! It should be noted that what was available is quite different to what's been uploaded to Zomato so the cafe should consider starting a website of their own. Service couldn't have been better as we were well taken care of by a number of sweet waitresses and even had a brief chat to the chef. Read moreBought a cheese and ham crossaint, heard the total and was shocked at how expensive a med coffee and a crossaint is. Confirmed with the girl serving what the price was from just the crossaint and was told it was $12.50! Couldn't believe it, I was expecting $7 or $8 at most! Maybe $9! I don't think it was blessed by the Pope or added years onto my life, so I am unsure behind the justification of the price when other cafes likely charge a lot less. Saw the past review response about how we should buy more to "Get the feel of the cafe"; I can't see how buying more would change my...
