I’m adding review in addition to earlier incomplete review.. The big n beautiful Central Park has everything that’s expected from best parks in south Eastern Melbourne! The Big trees lined up around periphery of the Ground beside providing shade for People (to sit n enjoy),are also enhancing overall Ambience the Place. The rest rooms, children play areas, big lush green grounds to walk for families n their pet dogs(on leash). Many children boys n girls) practice their games under their coaches!! Many youngsters are seen jogging in the vast jogging tracks around the Grounds. Older couples are seen either walking or watching children playing their Games! This Park is Disable- friendly, with rest rooms. Many people are seen with walking with their walking Aids. ONLY NEGATIVE REMARK, is: The Spectacular Fountain in the Park reflects past glory! For some reason it’s left high n dry. •••NEEDS URGENT MAINTENANCE ••• But for this , my rating is 9/10!

A big park with at least two children's play equipment areas. An exercise area, seating and so many beautiful trees around. Room for little kids to ride their scooters around on the paths. Plenty of grassed area for the kids to run around in. The Conservatory was amazing although only viewed from outside. A great area for everyone from children, to parents to grandparents to enjoy. There is a lovely ice cream/gelato place in a side street close to the park as well. I think it was called Nutty Latte at 362 Wattletree Road Malvern East.

Can be beautiful in nice weather. But lately it's very muddy, slippery and full of puddles all over grass and walking area. Also isn't best accessibility for those using mobility aids due to rough walking trail surface. Also huge annoyance is people bringing vicious dogs here to an off leash dog park? I was looking after my little godson (little schnauzer) who is lovely and so good with other dogs and good off leash, when a man swore at him, went to kick him and then stomped on his lead very violent so poor Georgie flew back. And the old man and the old woman he was with had the AUDACITY to be offended when I said not to touch my little Georgie, they said that their dog is vicious and will bite and they were trying to protect my dog. I told them to go elsewhere or put a muzzle on their dog as they're at a dog park. So I wish there was something the council could do to help stop these incidences cause I was ready to throw down with and old man...

Central park is a lovely green space to spend time in. Just won't let my dog off leash on the oval in case she runs on the road. Something for everyone. However the new playground doesn't offer much for children of all ages once they have looked in the boxes once they will lose interest. Where are the saw saws and other equipment kids play on?. Seems like a bit of a waste of taxpayers money. Looks nice but not a lot to entertain children.

Personally I don't have children but I have a dog and would be happier if the oval was fenced in as one of my previous pups ran off the oval and was hit by a car on Wattletree road. It was very traumatic and expensive to have her fixed.

Plenty of areas for a picnic.

They need more gardeners. Apparently there is only one. A bit hard to maintain a whole park with such...
