Inflatable World & Ringwood Indoor Sports Centre — Attraction in Melbourne

I had my sons birthday party there recently. I used the small ideas voucher which gave us two free entries when we booked a party. I booked the $285 basic party with nuggets and chips up to 12 kids and 90 mins. The concept was perfect… however I can’t help but feel… dissatisfied. When we arrived; we were greeted by lovely staff. A young man introduced himself as our host and explained the process. Party at 2pm, food 40 mins later, cake then quick play before 3:30pm and we have to finish party in room. All in a span of 90 mins. The room we were in felt more like a meeting room than a party room. Probably didn’t help that they had a bar in it also…. Not in use of course. The food was nuggets on one platter and chips on another: that was fine. Kids seemed to enjoy it. So that was a positive. Coffee was terrible! Sorry to whomever made it but it would of been one of the worst I’ve ever had. Mother in law said the same. Neither of us drank it. The play part was fantastic! The kids loved it! However. Sorry I’m about to be a “Karen” again 😬 my son (5)was scared at the top part of a slide. As I went over to help him. I could see a staff member walk past. I assumed he was going to help my son. Nope. Looked at him and walked past… only to lock eyes with me and I think he realised he probably should of helped and I was under the assumption I could play on inflatables with my Kids? If so…may want to talk to your staff; I was told I couldn’t….All in all. The inflatable world part. Fantastic! I will definitely go again but I found the party concept a bit lacklustre. This may be a good venue for kids to just play but not an ideal place to organise a party. I booked this venue to celebrate my daughters 6th birthday. They were under staffed and I did not get a party host allocated as promised in the party package, stressing me out as things were running late and food served was not to the quality considering the cost charged. It was evident from the moment we arrived that the venue was understaffed. My guests had no clue where to find us and some of them ended up placing the birthday gifts at the wrong table. We had 2 table of excited and hungry children waiting for food which added to the chaos and frustration and the kids ended up eating all of the cheetos to fill their tummies and was not keen to eat when the actual food arrived. The spingrolls and fries where unevenly cooked and it had a weird brown color to it making it look not appetising. Thought out the event there was lack of communication that left us feeling uninformed and uncertain. Planning a birthday party is meant to be a joyful experience but this was filled with stress and frustration.i believe it's essential for venues like yours to deliver on the promises made and ensure customer have a memorable experience especially when they are celebrating significant milestones like a child's birthday. NOT HAPPY!!! 90 minutes of total stress. My granddaughter celebrating her 6th birthday and was very excited to see her friends. 10 minutes into our time, another child or children were vomiting in several areas of the play centre. Several of the kids in our party had sat in it or jumped in it, which meant the stench was disgusting. Several children's parents had to go home and get changes of clothes. During this time the ordered food had arrived and not all children there to eat it. Management notified, and nothing they could do. We also had a child that was gluten intolerant, which was mentioned to management and got nothing . Why ask if there is any special dietary requirements??? Next the cake arrives and again, rushed, as our time was coming to a close.
