If I could give a 0 star rating I would! Order was placed at 6.40pm. We were told that delivery would be around 7.47. Meal turned up at 8.08. Order was missing mine and my sons dinner and was cold. I called the restaurant, who advised me that they were out of the meal that I ordered for my son and myself. I did not get a phone call to tell me that part of my order was not available and was not being delivered.. It took almost 1 hour and 25 minutes to deliver us pre-cooked food (the restaurant is 12 minutes drive from my house). The Owner of the business told me that it was not his responsibility to tell me that they were out of something that I ordered, it was menulog’s responsibility because they use Menulog drivers. When I advised the owner that the food was cold and asked why it took so long he hung up on me. I called back and asked why he hung up and he said I was being aggressive. I tried to say that I was not being aggressive and was just trying to tell him the food was cold. He said ‘we are just a small business’. I told him that is why I ordered from them as I was trying to support small businesses. He responded ‘if you were trying to support small businesses you would come into the shop and order’ I told him it is Friday night and my partner and I have had a couple off drinks and that is why we put in an order for delivery. He responded ‘that explains a lot’ I then told him to get fked and as I was hanging up he told me to get fked. Mind you, I have been charged for the food that was not delivered.
