Came here around 11am on Sunday. The place was fairly packed, about two vacant tables only. The staff are friendly but in a rush, they greeted us warmly and seated us, I like that they gave us the option to choose either vacant table. You order at the counter and the wait staff will bring the food once ready. Water (self service) is available near the coffee machine from a filtered tap. I ordered the omelette with mushrooms ($14), very juicy and delicious! My husband ordered the egg bacon sandwich ($12) which he enjoyed too but said should have had more bacon as there were only two. There are over 20 tables here but tables are very close to one another so conversations from nearby tables are clearly heard. There is a courtyard seating which is a bit more spread out and recommended if you want to enjoy the sun. I didn't care much for the skinny cappuccino. It was rather milky, Ripe is still the winner for me. My husband was happy with the caramel slice but the base was quite fudgy (my favourite is from Stirr It Up at Ringwood).

I had an incredible experience at Olinda Cafe! The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was bursting with flavor and made with top-quality homemade ingredients. You can tell they hold their standards really high when it comes to taste and presentation. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for something special. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully prepared. It’s clear that the chefs here put a lot of passion and care into their cooking. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both exceptional taste and quality, Olinda Cafe is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice spot with a courtyard in the back for dogs on leash. The food was well presented, served quickly and tasted great. Staff are very friendly and fantastic. Tips: - It can get difficult to find parking in the front. There is some parking near the rear entrance. - It gets busy at lunchtime on weekends. Try to come before 1 pm or late in the afternoon for lunch. - They do not take orders from your table. So after being seated you'll need to get back in queue at the front counter. So try and close your order as you wait in the queue for a table.

I cannot say enough positive things about Olinda Cafe! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, with a delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. The cafe's cleanliness and well-organized seating area immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Now, let's talk about the food and coffee – simply outstanding! The menu offers a diverse range of delicious options, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're a fan of savory or sweet dishes, Olinda Cafe has you covered. Their food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing their attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.

But what truly sets Olinda Cafe apart is their exceptional coffee. As a coffee lover, I have high standards, and I must say that Olinda Cafe exceeded my expectations. Their baristas are true artisans, skillfully crafting each cup with precision and care. The coffee is rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection, making it a delightful companion to any meal or a standalone treat.

Aside from the fantastic food and coffee, the customer service at Olinda Cafe is top-notch. The staff members are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to provide helpful recommendations or accommodate special requests. They truly make you feel like a valued guest, creating a warm and welcoming environment that enhances the overall dining experience.

I've visited Olinda Cafe several times, and each visit has been consistently exceptional. Whether I'm stopping by for a quick coffee or enjoying a leisurely meal with friends, I always leave with a smile on my face. If you're in search of a place with great food, fantastic coffee, a clean and cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff who genuinely care about your experience, look no further than Olinda Cafe. It's a true gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a delightful...

Haven't visited in decades and saw that reviews for Olinda Cafe's scones were good, so ascended 'The Hills' as former locals to try here anew. Yes, the scones are worth the hype! 5 stars!

The wait between ordering and paying at the counter until the scones arrived seemed lengthy... maybe 20 mins or longer. Suggestion: a little pre-delivery blurb: 'our scones are cooked fresh for you, hence, worth the wait' could ease the customer pain of 'why the excessive wait just for scones?' But, they finally arrived, piping hot, crusty on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, which was VERY compensatory. Well done! 5 star scones indeed!

Our young waitress was sweet and helpful but should roll with 'customer is right' ethos when we offered to purchase more jam and cream from the getgo. The topping portions were generous - but needed to be even MORE so to truly complement the skyscraper-esque scones! We had to hail another waitress well before our original came back to check on our needs. If she had have acceded to our initial request we would have given 5 stars across the board.

Another 3 to 3.5 stars was sitting inside the busily-patronized cafe - it lacked ventilation, assaulting our senses with overwhelmingly strong fried food smells from our cheek-to-jowel fellow patrons. Some open doors, windows or fans may help.

Coffee - beans not too fresh and was on the weak side but we did come for the scones... and definitely would return visit for those! Also the waitresses might not be 'fine dining' trained but they are friendly, smiling, helpful and young enough to cut slack for.

Also Men's Toilet had no soap.

Very nice,...

Stopped in here for lunch, the problems started as we walked in. The sign said "wait to be seated" we were told by staff to grab menus from the counter and get a table. Waited 15 minutes for the busy staff to take our order, that was fine. Our coffees and juices took 20 minutes to come out these were all good. (cafe was not all that busy) noticed our table had no number on it. As we sat waiting for an hour for our food to come out we started noticing how run down the place was. Patches on the ceiling unpainted the door to the kitchen had quite a bit of damage, pictures on the walls were damaged too, apparently the ladies Sanitary bin was "over flowing". The elderly lady with a walker struggled to get to the toilet due to how tight the seating was. I was actually about to pay for our drinks and leave as a confused waitress came out with three plates of food and had no idea who it was for..... We noticed it could have been ours so we asked if it was and she had no idea who's food it was, she had to ask before giving us our order. Cutlery came after our food came to the table. All the kids deep fried food was ok the scrambled eggs on toast was sitting in a puddle. The potatoes in jackets were near cold. Pretty disappointed to be honest. Staff seemed unhappy and a little lost the manager didn't seem to have much control as he was to busy running around (bumped into one of the wait staff carrying our coffees). Based on our experience today we should have gone to The Pie in The Sky. If you want a coffee and scone or cake you should be fine,...
