my experience for the bachelor of nursing: don't enrol into this course unless you want to waste your time. I could go on forever but long story short, the educators are absolutely helpless, rude and condescending. I think in my experience in the course I came across one nice educator. My mental health has depleted tremendously. In terms of assignments any little thing you do or say that seems like AI in their eyes is an automatic fail or huge loss of marks. I have written so many assignments that are my own work (I have never worked so hard) and what do you know, they think it's AI. The amount of grades I have lost is crazy. You barely get a platform for yourself to speak. They give you an "opportunity" to speak your truth, but it's honestly all just to save face, they already have the outcome they want to give you in their head. My placements there have been mostly good. A couple of them have been literally life changing, I met actual human people that care about me and wellbeing, and whether I was actually learning. I have also been on the world's worst placements where students feel scared to even ask questions. On one placement everyone just knew not to ask questions because asking one was seen as a sign of weakness and gave them the right to hold you back. Um hello, we're students. On my last placement there was a huge issue that ended in me failing even though it was the hospital and university's fault. How funny is it that when students make mistakes it's criticised but when the people in power make mistakes it's like whoops, fail. I got asked if I had a learning deficit, had a panic attack and then got told I was being failed. Then when I went back to the university to tell them I got asked whether I heard right and then was asked about the function of the liver. All this while I was crying by the way. But what did I really expect. I dropped out after that. It's crazy to think how close I was to finishing. I was in my third year last placement and had 2.5 weeks left. I really wanted to just finish the course and get it out of the way seeing as how far I came. But oh well. Anyways, moral of the story, don't do the Bachelor of Nursing at RMIT, save yourself. But other than that, the courses at...

Read moreRMIT will forever be my favourite University and Bundoora will forever be my favourite campus. A lot of people complain about how it is far away from the city and that it is boring. However, it is right across from unihill and conveniently located near the main tram line. The lecturers here really care about their students well being, not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Sure, the campus may look rather small and a tad bland at first glance. But once you look past all of it, you will see the beauty in it’s simplicity and appreciate everything it is. RMIT also has a very quaint library with two levels and many private study rooms to prepare for exams with...
